The Trial Lawyers of Puerto Rico (TLPR) is committed to supporting the next generation of legal professionals dedicated to justice and advocacy in Puerto Rico. This scholarship is designed for law students who demonstrate academic excellence and a passion for making a positive impact in the legal community. Selected awardees will receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their legal studies at an accredited law school in Puerto Rico. Four recipients will be selected from each of the three law schools (University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, and Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law).
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Puerto Rico law school
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Able to attend the award ceremony on May 6, 2026, in San Juan, PR, during the Mass Torts Puerto Rico 2026 Conference
Application Instructions

Application Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026.
Applicants will be notified in late March whether they are selected to receive scholarship funds.
